Here’s New Payment Method – Facebook Pay

2110This month, Facebook officially launched its own payment system – Facebook Pay. It is positioned as an easy and secure way to make payments on all Facebook platforms that include Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp. With the service, users also get an opportunity to view payment history, manage payment information, and access customer support 24/7.

In addition to making and receiving money transfers, Facebook Pay allows, for example, split the bill with friends, shop on Facebook Marketplace and Instagram, donate to Facebook or Instagram fundraisers, and purchase games, tickets to events, or premium content on Facebook Watch.

Currently, Facebook Pay is available only on Facebook and Messenger and only for U.S. users. The company promises to expand these boundaries shortly.

To start using the service, you simply need to go to one of the apps and enter your payment account information. Most major credit cards, debit cards, and/or PayPal accounts can be added depending on the option. After this action is completed, you will be able to use Facebook Pay whenever you need it.

The company claims that the transactions are absolutely safe, since it uses up-to-date anti-fraud technologies and methods of data protection. But if you are still suspicious, you can additionally set a PIN or biometric authentication.
