Royal Bank America along with Royal Asian Bank, its sister bank are providing a special interest rate of 2.05% APY for the 26 month CD. Good deals include a 1.75% APY on the 14 month CD along with a 2.25% APY on the 3 year CD. The minimum deposit required from customers for all these CDs is 1000 dollars. These rates have been listed on the Royal Bank of America’s rates pages. Although accounts can be opened by residents of any state, unlike in some other banks, these accounts have to be opened in person. The branches of the Royal Asian Bank are located in Palisades Park and Fort Lee in New Jersey along with some other cities of Philadelphia and Upper Darby. Both these banks belong to the same holding company called Royal Bancshares of Pennsylvania. It has been also reported that these banks are behind on the payment of TARP dividends.
