Get Free Food Delivery with Chase Credit Cards

2114Starting this week, some Chase cardholders can enjoy one more nice benefit. This is due to a new partnership with DoorDash. The food delivery service works online and is available on AppStore and Google Play. In the app, you can choose to order literally any kind of food from over 300,000 local and national restaurants across the U.S. and Canada.

The update concerns the owners of the Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Preferred, Freedom and Slate credit cards. The lucky ones can get a free or discounted DashPass subscription that provides free deliveries on orders from eligible restaurants. Here are the exact offers:

  • Chase Sapphire Reserve®: free DashPass benefits on eligible orders for 12-24 months after activation.
  • Chase Sapphire Preferred®: free DashPass benefits on eligible orders for 12-24 months after activation.
  • Chase Freedom®: free DashPass benefits on eligible orders for 3 months after activation and a 50% discount for the next 9 months.
  • Chase Slate®: free DashPass benefits on eligible orders for 3 months after activation and a 50% discount for the next 9 months.

The benefits become available after adding one of the eligible Chase credit cards to the DashPass account and work only when this very card is used to pay for orders in eligible restaurants totaling to $12.00 or more. The eligible restaurants are indicated in the app by the blue checkmark.

Since the tendency of online food ordering is, in fact, spreading through the U.S. by leaps and bounds, the new perk should come in handy both in those cases when you just want to have a pizza in front of TV on your own, and in those when you are planning a romantic dinner or a big party with friends. Just do not forget to activate the DashPass subscription before December 31, 2021 to get it for free.
